What are “Code Signing” Certificates?
These Certificates are used to sign Software (code executed on Windows Operating Systems and Java), so that Relying Parties are aware of its Publisher and can verify the integrity of the code.
What is it used for?
Enhance public trust for your software, which will be executed without Security Warnings. Secure the authenticity and integrity of your Software, such as the Identity of the Publisher. Sign:
- Individual executable files (.exe)
- Macros and scripts (.vbs)
- Installation Files (.msi)
- Libraries (.dll)
- Other Portable Executables (.cab, .dll, .ocx, .xpi and .xap)
- Windows Drivers
- Java Code (.jar)
